Thick, soft sugar cookies

I don't believe I've ever posted a recipe on here, but I stumbled upon this sugar cookie recipe and Charlie and I gave it a try a couple days ago. YUM.

Behold: the reason why I haven't been posting lately.

We closed on our new house on October 31st...we have been packing, unpacking, sorting, surviving, and absolutely loving the scenery. We praise God for His wonderful provision of this new home!

1 year...

Bethan's first birthday weekend...a wonderful celebration with Pops & Yai Vann! We are so thankful for a year of life from our great God. We love you, Bets!

Car-seats and puppy dogs

A lot has been happening around here lately. Charlie moved to a "big boy bed" last week, and Bethan-two days shy of her 1st birthday-has now moved to a full-sized carseat. In the meantime, the old one makes for a great toy. Or if that gets old there is always dress-up. Puppy dog or peasant- take your pick. One of these days we might need to expand the Vann costume department!
